Merry Christmas @everyone! Thank you for following along with another year of the Plummy Christmas Countdown. This is my favorite time of year, so I’m always glad to put out a steady stream of holiday themed content for you guys. This year I was able to cover some more of my favorite Christmas songs, made some holiday treats and stickers for the first time, and learned a lot along the way. I’m truly grateful for everyone that contributed to this countdown and supported me this year. However, what started as a way to interact with my community during the holidays in the midst of my hiatus has, unfortunately, turned into an end of the year stressor, especially this year. It was hard for me to keep on top of the countdown in addition to a full time job and all the other things that keep me busy at the end of the year. Even though I started planning in September, I still had a hard time and even missed a few days. But, I don’t want to stop doing this.

So, next year the Plummy Christmas Countdown will be a little different. Instead of a full 25 days, it will be 12 days. Although I’ll be cutting down on the days, I’m not cutting down on the fun. There will still be art. There will still be music. There will still be movies. I've already started making my list, so I hope you look forward to next year’s countdown. I know I am. For day 23, I made what is commonly considered a holiday staple, Muddy Buddies/Puppy Chow! I’ve never made it before, but the shelves were mostly bare of Rice Chex, so it must be popular. I made one version with Christmas sprinkles and one with raspberry powder to make it festive.

For day 14, I finally made sugar plums! I’ve had the ingredients for a while, but I’ve been busy dealing with life. They aren’t as good as I think they could be. Maybe more spices? 🤔

Day 12 brings Christmas shopping! There never seems to be enough time for Christmas shopping. I know some people start earlier in the year, but that’s not me. Time to scramble!

I’m behind on Christmas art and I wasn’t feeling well enough to sit at my computer for very long yesterday, so have a picture for Day 11! Grandma Nemui loves decorating for the holidays, so she always goes all out. And this is only one section.

My favorite drink of the holiday season is nog. I’m vegan so I can’t have proper egg nog, but I’ll take what non-dairy versions I can get from the local grocery store. Now, I don’t know if I’d actually swim in it, but who doesn’t want 50 gallons of nog?
