Rondo Energy deploys Southeast Asia’s ‘first industrial Heat Battery’ Rondo and SCG Cleanergy have commenced operation of Southeast Asia's first industrial thermal BESS at SCG's cement plant in Thailand.

A similar "Hot-Rocks" thermal battery deployed in Thailand for a cement factory. Only 33MWh but higher temperature.

The manufacturer #Rondo includes the option of boosting superheated steam for the turbine, something #PolarNightEnergy is still prototyping.
