It's spider season where the eight-legged twats build their often sizeable webs between the hedges either side of garden paths. If you're lucky you see them before getting a face and head full of web. If you're extra unlucky you get the spider in your face as well as the web.

Had a dog having two goes at me today but it only bit my clothes. Was about to warn my colleague but the dog got to him first. Two puncture wounds in his arm.
