Book *might* get turned in today... Focusing on the slightly details, like less shiny but serviceable Cotton. Still chuffed that I can identify the (plain) weave! Once the book goes on its merry way we'll celebrate with satin!

Should I Wear THIS to My Exhibition Opening?

Getting a bit ahead of myself, but if I turn the book in TODAY, I'll have until December 10, 2026 to figure out how to do it! (I already know Spoonflower can help make me a multiple Veronica fabric...)

Not Giving Up My Shot

Learned recently that while all of these are plain weave fabrics, one is mysteriously and beautifully called "changeable" shot silk in early modern parlance! 🥰

And yes, the book IS due to copyediting this week, why do you ask? 🤣
