#ProjectArashi is damn near 20 years old and it has taken me until TODAY to realize I wrote Seno and Motoko as this exact thing.

Initially, for my plan to include OnK in #ProjectArashi, I was going to have Kamiki be something that was handled offscreen, a threat neutralized without fanfare, glazed over with only a few words because compared to a real supernatural threat, he's fucking nobody. Just an obsessed, murderous loser.

I may have set myself an impossible goal.

As I've said before, I've been writing #ProjectArashi since 2006. July 26th, in fact. That means the 20th anniversary is coming up. I thought it'd be neat if I could get the first chapter of the main story out on that date. But that means I have to finish ⬇️

The problem with using Oshi no Ko characters in #ProjectArashi is twofold. One, they're around during the sequel, and I'm not even done with the PREquel yet, let alone the main story.

Two, I have no faith that I can write any of them correctly :)

I am absolutely both of these. As a reader, my current record is four different Cyberpunk Edgerunners fics with fucking near the exact same premise and I love them all.

As a writer, if someone else had been doing something remotely similar to #ProjectArashi I would have quit :)
