A circular marble relief carved with a depiction of the Annunciation. At the right is the facade of a building, in front of which stands Gabriel with his right hand raised above his head and his left hand extended in front of him. He faces Mary, who at the right kneels under a canopy, on a prie-dieu on which is propped a book. In the air between the two figures are four flowers on stems. Above the flowers at the top of the roundel is a cloud which might contain cherubim.
