Autor: ... You've got worse stars than Fakir. You're a PALADIN, Mytho. Mytho: I know... (it shows Mytho's stats with STR - 11, DEX - 12, CON - 9, INT - 12, WIS - 14, CHA - 12). Autor fixed his glasses and continues: Reroll your stats, I'll allow it this time (I can't let Fakir be a better Tank than a Paladin.)

2nd roll sheet Autor and Mytho are gripping in annoyance and confusion as it reads STR - 11, DEX - 9, CON - 13, INT - 7, WIS - 14, CHA - 12. Autor annoyed says "Reroll again, /please..../" and Mytho "O-okay.". Bottom panel says "3rd Roll!" and it just shows Autor and Mytho's backs as Autor yells "Reroll! Third time's the charm!" and Mytho goes "Y-Yes!"

Panel says "He finally got better base stats on the fourth reroll." Autor is wiping his forehead and says "Oh thank God." as Mytho looks relieved with a "Phew!".

When I initially made Mytho's Paladin in my drafts I kept rolling like shit for his stats, so I made it part of the AU lore.

Fourth panel is a two-part. One part of the panel we see Autor look miserably at Mytho, as Ahiru is looking with a nervous smile, while Fakir cockily looks at Autor and says "Called it.". The second part of the panel has Autor glare at Fakir as Fakir laughs with a "heh" popping out of him.

Fifth panel has Siegfried hitting Lohengrin (Fakir's DnD character) with his Divine Smitten sword, blood coming out of Lohengrin both from his abdomen and his mouth. Autor narrates this by saying "As Mytho missed his enemy with a Critical Failure, the attack instead hit his companion Lohengrin in the gut.". He accidentally narrated with Mytho's name instead of Siegfried's as he was too mad to concentrate on being roleplay-accurate.

First panel of the comic has Siegfried(Mytho's DnD character) cast a light onto his sword holding it in front of him, shouting "I will cast Divine Smite!!!".

Second panel has Autor the DM excitedly raise his fist up behind the Dungeon Master, saying "Nice!" and continue with "Roll for attack to see if you hit, Siegried!"

Third panel is in four-panel style. The first panel has Rue say "You got this, babe!" and Mytho say "Here it goes!" as he's about to roll the dice. The second part of the panel has him rolling as Rue and Mytho watch the 20-sided die on the table roll. Third part has the die stop and we see Rue and Mytho look at it stumped. The fourth part has Rue Marge Simpson-style look away hiding with her hand, as Mytho points and index finger looking in the direction of the Dungeon Master, saying "I got a one."

The party at the table look at Ahiru in awe, Fakir is holding his hand up at her all smugly at Autor as the DM is looking at her with annoyance. Ahiru continues "At 6th level, as well!"

Autor takes off his glasses to pinch the bridge of his nose and goes "Sigh, Godammit. Okay." He puts his glasses back on and does his narrator voice "Duck countered the counter to counter the spell on Drosselmeyer the Lich. The Disintegrate spell fades away."

Rue and Ahiru high five and yell "YEAH!!! TEAM BARD!" Fakir is fanning himself with his character sheet going "Thank u wifey." Mytho is pogchamping at them both at the table. Autor in the back is facepalming and sighing behind his DM screen.

Thankfully they have not one, but TWO Bards in their party to face off against his spell slots! (2/2)

Fakir is bloodied facing Drosselmeyer the Lich as Duck the Bard is watching in horror. The narrator says "A familliar, sickly green ray emanates from Drosselmeyer the Lich's index finger as he points it towards you. Knowing all too well the walls he has turned to dust with the previous use of said spell, the Lich points it towards you, Lohengrin, who has taken the brunt of the damage protecting Duck the Bard."

"Roll a Dexterity Saving Throw, Lohengrin." We see Ahiru holding Fakir who is in concentration about to roll a D20 as Ahiru shouts with tears "Oh no!". Suddenly Kraehe shows up and says COUNTERSPELL in cursive flair.

We see the entire party at the table, Fakir, Ahiru and Mytho are astonished at pregnant Rue as she continues "At 6th Level, Bitch!". Autor is shows adjusting his glasses with a smirk as he laughs.

Autor: "The lich counterspells you back, eliminating yours counterspell" Rue: "WHAT!! That's impossible! You can't do that!!!" Ahiru looks over at her spell cards: "Wait a sec". Fakir is looking over at her. Autor: "Oh yes I can, it's in the Monster Manual & Players Guide." Rue: "Tell me //where//." Fakir and Ahiru are mumbling, Fakir: "What are you looking at?" Ahiru: "This is the spell, right?" Fakir looks in astonishment: "Y-Yeah!", Ahiru happily glances back at her spell book: "Okay!" . Autor: "Page 202, his spells are listed right here." Rue:"UH DDAMMIT!!! He really does have Counterspell on his list---"

Duck the Bard is lying on the ground alongside her backpack and lute. The narrator says "Duck goes down, her small body charred andd bleeding on the marble floor."

We cut to the IRL world at the game table as Autor is narrating, Mytho is clutching is hands on his face, Rue is concerningly looking through her spell book, Fakir is holding Ahiru's hand as he's narrowing his eyes and holding onto his character sheet in front, and Ahiru is tearing up as she's looking down her character sheet. Autor continues "Lohengrin unable to reach the lich's flight distance, decides to summon his echo self right next to Duck the Bard's unconscious body."

Autor looks towards Fakir and Ahiru "Drosselmeyer uses his Legendary Action to cast a cantrip. A beam of white icy light concentrates on his index finger and points it towards you, Ahiru.". Fakir flinches and looks at Autor with rage and Ahiru looks at the DM with tears falling down her cheek as she hiccups and says "Oh no!"

Fakir slams his character sheet onto the table, covering Ahiru in front of him with his other hand. Rue is standing and leaning with one hand as her pregnant stomach jutting onto the table and she's holding Ahiru's head with her other hand, Mytho is clutching his fist and leaning towards the table as he's seriously pouting towards the DM. Ahiru is full-blown crying holding her face between her hands. Fakir and Rue both yell out "DON'T YOU /DARE/, AUTOR!"

Rue flaunts her character sheet, "I am an Elven Bard of the Raven Queen!". Mytho sheepishly shows his sheet, "A paladin. He helps people.". Fakir is reading his sheet while Ahiru is still scribbling on hers, Fakir says "Human Fighter, he's got the Tragic Knight background. I'm still figuring out whether I should go for Echo or Eldritch Knight, but I'll probably go for----" He is cut off immediately by Ahiru showing a doodle of a duck on her sheet and proudly stating "I'm a /Duck Bard!/".

Autor tiredly puts his hand on his face, Fakir puts his hand on his face to but chuckles at Ahiru instead. Mytho is chuckling at the silliness. Ahiru and Rue talk to each other "Rue, we should be bard sisters!" "Sure, we can be adopted siblings!"

Doodle comic, Ahiru says "I wanna attack the enemy with my shortsword!". Autor says "Roll for attack, Duck the Bard!". Ahiru rolls the die while Fakir is watching her roll it as she says "Here we go!". Last panel is them looking at the D20 die that rolled and it landed on a Natural 1, both of them look like they've been electrocuted as they're probably about to have a laughing breakdown.

Fun fact these shitpost-y doodles from 2020 is what actually started this entire AU, all because my friend said Ahiru would roll terribly.

Autor the DM narrates to his party "The battle has been a fruitful one for the party members, but tension is slowly rising this turn. As Lohengrin downs one of the three Hellhouns surrounding him, another one of the beasts critically hits him with its fangs, damaging him for 26 hitpoints, Lohengrin is now standing bloodied. It is now your turn, Duck the Bard!" Autor points at Ahiru, to which she replies "O-Okay!". Rue and Mytho are mumbling meanwhile about spell uses next to them and Fakir looks nonplussed at them.

Duck the Bard narrates "I call out his name.... And then I say....". Lohengrin is visible in the panel, a dark Echo Knight warrior covered in blood and bruises. Duck calls out to him shouting "LOHENGRIN!" and he responds with "Huh?".

Duck is crying in the first panel and says "You are a strong knight, Sir Lohengrin, there is no doubt about it!". The second half of the panel has her posing and sparkling at him with a wing pointing to him "And that's why I BEE-LIEVE in you!". The text bubble has bees flying away.

Fakir has his face covered in embarrassed and muffling out a scream. Mytho and Rue are awing at Ahiru, and Autor has his hand in his head sighing out an "Oh my /god/." Ahiru continues "And that's how I shall give Inspiration to my "Dark Knight"!"

This was also the year where I started to get really into making comics for some of the prompts, and I also started to make designs for my #PtutuDnD AU! This was for the prompt "Inspire".
