An indirect ophthalmoscopy is performed to look at the dog’s retina in the back of his eye.

Purdue Vet Med gave free eye exams to service dogs on May 12 as part of a global event. Labs, guide dogs, seizure response dogs, and police K9s were screened for eye health. Over 5,300 dogs were seen across five countries.
