We carry on living, of course, and we carry on hoping, and none of us are surrendering any time soon, even though it big part the whole point of this attacks is to force Ukrainians to protest against our government, say “we’re fed up with this war, we want peace at all costs” (ie capitulation and accepting the fate of being a russian colony like Belarus AT BEST).
