I hope @xbox.com do a remaster for #QuakeIIIArena the way they did ones for the first two Quake games. I think, on balance, it might still be the most fun I've had with a straight-up arena shooter.
Halo had more scope, Perfect Dark more options, but Quake III was just unmitigated FUN.
