Had a great time at the Queen Vic night market.
Caught up with a friend from Tassie and his partner. Yes, the panzerotti was delicious.
Good company, food, people watching and some funny T shirts winning.

A display of citrus, in a bed of straw on top of a barrel. There are bergamot at the back, and a couple of Buddha's hands (citron) at the front.
Fragrant citrus in full effect at #QueenVicMarket right now. Naturally I bought both Buddha's hand and bergamot, for culinary purposes...
A cardboard bulk shipping box of mandarins, with a price label of $4.99/kg.
Cold and foggy shop at #QueenVicMarket this morning. But I love this time of year.
Trays of summer fruit on display at a market stall. From left to right - dragonfruit, kiwifruit, lychees and cherries.
All the summer fruits in full effect at #QueenVicMarket this morning. Including lychees! Get onto it early, before the serious heat kicks in today. Pro-tip: lychees from the refrigerator are a cooling treat on hot days ;)
A cheese seller's counter window ar Queen Victoria Market. The store is called Curds and Whey.
What a friend we have in cheeses. Also, stonefruit is in full effect now too. #QueenVicMarket
Two bundles of fresh green asparagus, lying on a chopping board.
Definitely signs of springtime, with early season asparagus from Mildura available at #QueenVicMarket this morning. A gift from nature.
The newly refurbished (and re-imagined) food hall at #QueenVicMarket is finally open: and it looks pretty good. Also, finally seeing Victorian apricots - still a bit expensive, but quality generally fine.
They've arrived! New season stonefruit, fresh from South Australia, has hit #QueenVicMarket - and it's delicious. A little firm still, so may need a day or two before you eat it.
