#RCAF100 - March 5, 1936 - First flight of the Supermarine Spitfire, a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during, and after World War II. It was the only British fighter produced continuously throughout the war.
#RCAF100 - February 22, 1925 - First flight of the de Havilland DH-60 Gipsy Moth. The CAF and RCAF would fly them from 1928 to 1948 as trainers.
#RCAF100 - January 25, 1979 – The first Canadian Forces CP-140 Aurora maritime patrol aircraft rolls out at Lockheed, Burbank, California.

The all-too-brief RAF Red Arrows visit to CWHM during their 2024 Maple Hawk tour was a fun opportunity to see them up close. They departed with a rare flypast of all 12 Hawk T1A jets.
The Red Arrows were visiting Canada to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the RCAF.
