As states move toward new international law on #AutonomousWeapons, the military AI weapons discussed at #REAIM must be under the same legal scrutiny.

States must take stock of the harmful trajectory of military AI and ensure that more #AutomatedHarm doesn't come to pass on the battlefield.

This week, we’ll be at #REAIM (𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘼𝙄 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘿𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩).

We already see the harms of unregulated military #AI . States must ensure strict laws – like a treaty on #KillerRobots – govern the use and development of any weapon or tool that risks automated harm.
