I don't have to go to a cemetery to see this. I was born in 1952 and went to school with kids on crutches and in braces because of polio. I had measles and mumps myself when I was only 3-6 years old. The vaccines didn't exist yet. I have a good memory and those are all bad memories.

My cousin had polio as a young child before vaccines. Wore a leg brace forever and to this day has a limp.
