🌿 Plastic pollution in rivers is a major problem. #RIPARIANET ( #BiodivProtect) shows vegetation traps plastics, with denser plant communities trapping more. A new 3D vegetation index (3DVI) could help identify plastic hotspots and improve cleanup.
