Rest in peace #RachelCooke, a writer I admired on the page for a long time. I only met her once and in our brief chat she radiated such warmth, intelligence and puckishness. What a blessing she was.

Very sad to hear that the writer and journalist #RachelCooke has died. I attended a talk by her at the #Watershed in #Bristol a few years back, which was excellent.

Nobody in mainstream journalism did as much to bring comics to the masses as Rachel. Quite shocking.

This is really sad news I really loved Rachel's #Comic #GraphicNovels reviews, like this one for "Paul at Home" by Michel Rabagliati . They were filled with insight and love for the medium and not a cape in sight ! Love to her family and friends . #RachelCooke
