A vibrant, multicolored meteor streaks across the night sky above Sedona, Arizona. Captured on high-speed color film, the Perseid meteor displays hues of green and orange, caused by atmospheric oxygen and cometary dust. The meteor, a piece of Comet Swift-Tuttle's tail, traveled at over 200,000 kilometers per hour.
