Because of the ongoing closure of the line between Gillingham and Sittingbourne, here are your best travel options from London for the rest of the day. Sittingbourne: Travel from London Victoria (or London Bridge with Thameslink) to Gillingham and change there for a bus service to Sittingbourne Faversham, Whitstable, Chestfield & Swalecliffe, Herne Bay, Birchington-on-Sea or Westgate-on-Sea: Travel from London Charing Cross, London Bridge or London St Pancras to Dover, and change there for a connecting train to Faversham. A connecting train will then run from Faversham to Ramsgate stopping at all stations. Departures from Charing Cross: 04 minutes past the hour Departures from St Pancras: 07 minutes past the hour A ticket from London can be used on any of the above at no extra cost
