While #MayDay grabbed a lot of #resistance attention, May 1st is also #LawDay. And in NYC, the Suits (1500 per the NYTimes) were out for #RallyfortheRuleofLaw in #FoleySquare, facing the facades of the New York County Courthouse and the United States Courthouse.
At today’s #RallyForTheRuleOfLaw in Foley Square, NYC:
“It’s not the words of our enemies we remember, it’s the silence of our friends. Right now, we must not be silent.”
Lawyers stood together and publicly renewed their commitment to the Constitution and the rule of law.
