Hi George,
My friend and I took a trip to #RamseyCanyon and #MaderaCanyon in June. We stayed at the Ramsey Canyon Cabins. A Cooper's Hawk was hunting nearby, and the Gould's Turkeys were always getting into a fracas -- a really unforgettable trip!

#Anna’sHummingbird —another lifer from my last trip to Arizona’s #RamseyCanyon in the #HuachucaMountains. I lingered by the creek as flashes of emerald and rose blurred past, and this little jewel finally settled just long enough for a portrait.

Another lifer! #Broad-billedHummingbirds darted around the feeders at the #RamseyCanyon Visitor Center, and I managed to photograph a few as they paused on nearby branches.

Northern Pygmy Owl. Major surprise when it landed above my head.

A wild turkey is paused in the scrub oak environment it lives in, and has its striped tail feathers fanned out in a mating display. The bird is brown, black, off-white, and has a bluish head with a red comb and wattle

This is a wild turkey from southern Arizona. Today I am grateful for my family, music, and our remaining wild spaces
