'24 RSD issue. Found for one-sixth of the posted, original price. I'm not a fan of Rundgren, but for a ten-spot I thought 'what the hell.' I enjoyed listening to this expansive soundscape- quite different from my usual music choices.

Day 1029 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinyl The first of Ian Tyson's important 'cowboy' era albums. I returned to the thrift store the next day after initially leaving it in the bin. Had a bonus of the next album in the series also being in the sleeve- twice the songs then.

Passed by it once-surrounded by gospel records- given its 'home made' cover, but did a double take once I spotted ⬇️

Day 1026 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge Found some pretty good country #vinyl this week including this double set of remade Kitty Wells' classics. A bit more palatable to 'modern' ears, perhaps if a little too much 'Nashville sound' orchestration. Glad to add to the collection.

Day 1025 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge Found some pretty good country #vinyl this week. This 'Best of' Freddie Hart is hardly that- a few of his middlin' singles and several album cuts. Not complaining- good stuff if haphazardly assembled, but that may have been the point- fool the consumer!

Day 1024 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge Added new-to-me #vinyl yday at the charity shop. I did not squeal when I saw Johnny Darrell, but I know I made a noise. Budget compilation of hits, singles, & lp tracks, but Darrell is rarely spotted in the wild. Love the look of the Sunset inner label.
