I loved this story which explored the fragility of connection, the tension between vulnerability and pride, and the quiet ache of wanting to hold on while not knowing how. I really need to remember that when I read a book by this author to have tissues available as I will be crying at some point - this book was not an exception to that rule! So many emotions in the events of this story. I just love these two men who are perfect for each other.
