A bed of Golden Kelp to the left made up of shades of gold and yellow. A a yellow-tailed leatherjacket fish is just near it. Some red seaweeds can be seen peeking out of the canopy. To the right and top of the image is blue water.

Day 12 of #reeflifesurvey in the GBR and Coral Sea, and we are at Marion reefs around 400 km offshore. Some terrific sea life today particularly on our big bommie site. #marineexplorer 🦑 🧪
