The dead deserve us to remember them but also to make sure their sacrifices were not in vain.

Letters to his wife from boot camp 1940 to DDay to Brussels & finally #Hannover tell our uncle Tommy’s WW2 survival story. Due to be demobbed he died in an RTA just 2 weeks before coming home. 60 yrs later my Mum & Uncle found closure at his grave in #Celle #RememberanceDay2024

He died at 102.

He's have been 104, nearly 105 today.
