🧪❓ Do you #Review #GrantApplications proposing to use #AnimalResearch? Want to know if the obligation of #Replacement has been met? Watch the @replanimalres.bsky.social webinar #ReplacementChecklist for #Review of projects proposing to use #animals on #YoutTube: youtu.be/2pe_sT66g-c?...
We've recently been rethinking our approach to supporting academics and other scientists and their establishments to replace #AnimalResearch. The #ReplacementChecklist is a new tool, intended to be accessible to all stakeholders making decisions about whether animals are used in #Science. 🧪
We also used our own #ReplacementChecklist in order to evaluate the extent to which real life case studies may have explored opportuntities for replacement in #AnimalResearch. You can access our Checklist here: replacinganimalresearch.org.uk/resources/re...
And also our own review of the current guidance for the 'R' of #Replacement and access our peer reviewed #ReplacementChecklist here ( #OpenAccess ) doi.org/10.1177/0261...
We used material from @rspcalabanimal.bsky.social Animals in Science 'Supporting Replacement in Academia' Report and our own #ReplacementChecklist 🥰 .
(3/5) We’ve developed the #ReplacementChecklist to help #Researchers, #Reviewers and other relevant stakeholders identify and assess what has been done to determine whether scientifically satisfactory replacement approaches exist, in line with current legislation.
