For any of my #RTS oldheads, does anyone else remember #RiseOfNations? Specifically, the first one plus the Thrones and Patriots expansion
I'm replaying some of the conquer the world campaigns, and I'm finding that the Alexander the Great one is way harder than the others. Does anyone know why?

After a few weeks of kitbashing we finally created a proper #khmer army for Project Yesugei. No more strange Conan the Barbarian-style units as in vanilla #riseofnations. Lots of elephants and phkek infantry, but not much else, heaviest cav unit is not a knight, but a chariot. #rts #gamemodding #3d

"Board and pieces" design improves usability and delight.
Rise of Nations scouts were hard to differentiate from peons.
So, we added a dog. Usability and delight increased (puppies!)
However, nothing sadder than the sound of a dog dying :(
