Seriously, most #RobinHood shows make up bullshit about Saxons and Normans to some degree, but #RobinHood2025 has got to be the worst I've seen so far.

And it's literally in the very first second! (not counting the opening sequence)

Many years have passed since the Norman Conquest and England is ruled by Henry II. Norman laws and Christianity have been forced upon the Saxon People, who must pay taxes and give deferences to their new masters.

It's amazing how every #RobinHood adaptation since Errol Flynn finds a way to a) piss me off, b) make me groan right off the bat.

Case in point, #RobinHood2025 kicked my blood pressure off the charts by literally starting with this gem:
