Reckon #robotvac will need 3 or 4 charges to do the whole ground floor, no idea how long each charge will take.
When dog returns from sitter, aside from regular confrontations, I can see a 'forever war' forming between moulted dog hair scree & painfully slow vacuuming & dust collector emptying.

#robotvac managed a tricky course amid dining table/chair legs, swept over much of the kitchen. Then after 45mins announced "Cleaning completed. Returning to recharge" then trundled away to make several passes before attempting to dock, like a drunk trying to get their key in the door.

Finally got around to rigging up #robotvac & apparently I should 'supervise' it's first run in case it gets into 'difficulties'. I also have to clean it regularly.
Decided to call it Dick. Re Philip KD who filled his stories with homeostatic devices.
Also, "FFS it's just a rug you Dick! Get over it"

After yet another iRobot Roomba crapping out before even being a year old, iRobot is forsaken. I now have a Roborock Q Revo, and it’s doing a great job, quickly built a map, handles the dog hair with ease, and the mopping feature is awesome. Time will tell the longevity #lazy #robotvac #modernlife
