there is an increased number of attacks by dark creatures in the Sworn Kingdoms, so the guildmembers left RockSiege to go and defend the region. The Injured Dove was hurt in one of those attacks, and Mercy is about to walk into an “almost” desolate stronghold

#RockSiege is just a citadel constantly flooded by caravan markets. Everything must be brought in, besides water.
Some merchants establish themselves there as the weaponsmith and armor business is good, as well as some hidden magic and chemist shops
And some shush relic dealers
This book is laid out for a lone fox to dip their toe in this dark pool and then dive in, immersing themselves in it. But, you can always use the Ingredients list and bake your own story, or also call for reinforcements and have an oracle read the runes to guide your destiny. It includes all the tools and information you will need to achieve your feat… if you manage. But it has been also laid out so it’s compatible with other runebooks, like MörkBorg in this case. You must guide your champion and duel the fates that inhabit the citadel, searching within it to find a clue, before dawn catches up on you, before the darkness kidnaps you, or you perish in battle. It is your choice how you will search the citadel, and how do you wish to act on everything that appears before you, or above. Decisions have consequences You will need a d20 dice, some paper and something to write with. You can trace the map onto a new piece of paper and see yourself move trough the citadel, as well as taking note of your current health and status. Or bring some dice to use as counters and tokens, make this adventure yours. Just… Don’t forget to bring a shovel.

The image shows a stronghold citadel located in a round crater on a mountainside. A stronghold building in the middle, two towers at 10 and 2 and a building dormitory on the north side If you are playing with an Oracle, you will discover the rooms with their help. If you are by yourself, then a chatty SiegeMaiden told you everything you needed to know. Maybe a bit too much, maybe not. Be careful. P001 The Arrival Plaza is paved with loose rocks. Great for water drainage and for giant beasts to loose their footing. It leads to the stronghold steps and the other plazas.

This guild‘s quests are for the greater good, mostly risking their lives to go against a dark forest menace or others, no easy money, no fame and riches. Even merchants could be on one of the kingdoms but they rather be here giving up a fight

Wen you are sneaking into a fortified citadel, you are exposed in the open plazas, even at night.
There’s guards, maybe a thief who stole magical relics and surely a blood gargoyle looking for pure blood
