MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: My Treasure by Roe Horvat 1 of 5 stars Prince Gillam flees an arranged marriage to a cruel man just before his first heat, only to collapse in the forest with wolves closing in. Instead of dying, he’s swept away by a terrifying winged creature. When he wakes, he finds himself safe, warm, and being tenderly cared for by a handsome stranger named Fergus — leaving Gillam to wonder not just who rescued him, but what he’s been taken by. This novella had an intriguing premise, but ultimately it left me disappointed. The relationship between Gillam and Fergus felt too high‑level, with very little emotional depth or genuine connection shown on the page. Almost everything between them was attributed to the mating bond or Gillam’s heat, which made their dynamic feel more like circumstance than choice. I wanted to feel the tenderness, fear, wonder, or longing that should come with a rescue and a growing bond, but those emotions never really materialised. Without that development, the story felt rushed and lacked the feelings that make a pairing believable. A promising idea, but the emotional core just wasn’t there. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG. *** Please note this story was first shared as a freebie in 2022. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Magnificent Mess by Roe Horvat 3 of 5 stars Laurel Riley, a famous singer desperate for a break from the spotlight, retreats to the secluded bear‑shifter town of Beauville to recover from burnout. But when a construction accident leaves his new chalet uninhabitable, he’s forced to stay at a local B&B run by the endlessly cheerful Monty Wolf. Monty’s tenant, the broody and unimpressed Orson “Jordy” Jordan, complicates things further — especially when the tension between them turns into something far more intimate. Laurel came to Beauville for solitude, healing, and quiet hikes, but instead finds himself tangled up with two bear shifters and questioning whether being alone is really what he wants after all. This was such a warm, comforting story, and the connection between Laurel, Monty, and Jordy absolutely shines. Each of them carries their own kind of exhaustion or loneliness, but it’s Laurel’s deep burnout that really sets the emotional tone — and the way Monty and Jordy give him the kind of rest, grounding, and affection he didn’t even know he needed is genuinely lovely. Their bond formed quickly but naturally, built on care, curiosity, and an easy chemistry that grows into something tender and real. Watching the three of them find solace in each other made me smile throughout, and I couldn’t help cheering them on as that spark deepened into love. A sweet, feel‑good romance with a trio you can’t help rooting for. This was an MMM story with mature content and set in the the omegaverse. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0FQK6Z6HF" 0 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on March 4, 2026: "Review: Magnificent Mess by Roe Horvat 3 of 5 stars Laurel Riley, a famous singer desperate for a break from the spotlight, retreats to the secluded bear‑shifter town of Beauville to recover from burnout. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Breakneck by Roe Horvat 4 of 5 stars Terrance, a disciplined private security professional with a spotless record, is assigned to protect Lothair — a famous actor and stuntman who also happens to be a dragon-shifter. Lothair thrives on danger, arrogance, and chaos, treating Terrance less like a bodyguard and more like a challenge. Though both are alphas and bound by rules that should keep them apart, Lothair relentlessly tests Terrance’s limits, pushing him toward attraction he refuses to admit. For Lothair, unraveling his straitlaced protector might be the most thrilling stunt of all. Their clash of personalities ignites sparks that blur the line between duty and desire, turning protection into temptation and threatening to burn down every rule that stands in their way. I loved this story about two alphas whose collision of duty, chaos, and desire threatens to consume them — and the rules meant to keep them apart. I also loved how the story asked whether love can coexist with responsibility, or if desire inevitably undermines duty. It was also interesting that in this story true intimacy required surrender — even for those who define themselves by power. At its heart, this story is about two alphas whose collision of duty, chaos, and desire threatens to consume them — forcing them to decide whether breaking rules leads to ruin or to freedom. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0FV89THWJ" 1 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on January 4, 2026: "Review: Breakneck by Roe Horvat 4 of 5 stars Terrance, a disciplined private security professional with a spotless record, is assigned to protect Lothair — a famous actor and stuntman who also happens to be a dragon-shifter. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Freefall by Roe Horvat 4 of 5 stars Ansel flees to his grandfather’s remote cabin to escape his parents’ attempt to force him into marriage with a snobbish alpha. Hoping for solitude and clarity, he instead stumbles upon an astonishing sight after a storm — a dragon crash-landed in the forest. Expecting danger, Ansel is stunned when the dragon transforms into Pascal, a polite, if slightly disheveled, man who promptly invites himself in. Pascal, nearly forty and convinced he’s past reckless mistakes, realizes he’s made a mess by flying into a storm, injuring himself, and revealing his dragon form to a human. Worse, his dragon instincts immediately claim Ansel — a nineteen-year-old omega — as his mate. With Ansel still fragile and untested, Pascal must tread carefully, balancing instinct with responsibility. But their budding bond faces more than just the challenges of age and circumstance. Overbearing parents and a vengeful ex loom large, threatening to turn their unlikely meeting into a battle for survival, love, and freedom. I loved this story about an omega seeking freedom and a dragon seeking redemption, drawn together by fate but tested by danger, instinct, and the weight of outside forces. I liked the way that the story explored whether love is destiny or choice, and how instinct must be tempered by respect. Nineteen versus nearly forty highlighted generational differences and societal judgement plus Pascal’s role as a teacher makes their bond even more precarious - love across boundaries asks whether connection can transcend rules, expectations, and stigma. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature and set in the omegaverse with MPREG. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CLJ5FZLZ" 0 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on January 3, 2026: "Review: Freefall by Roe Horvat 4 of 5 stars Ansel flees to his grandfather’s remote cabin to escape his parents’ attempt to force him into marriage with a snobbish alpha. MP Book Reviews on Instagram: "Review: Levity by Roe Horvat 4 of 5 stars Leo is a vulnerable omega living in fear and isolation. When he finally gives in to his desires with a domineering alpha, the encounter turns chaotic—his ex’s thugs attack, and he’s suddenly kidnapped by what seems to be a dragon. Confused and terrified, Leo questions his sanity, since dragons shouldn’t exist. Davidson is a dragon shifter alpha who recognises Leo as his destined mate. Fierce, protective, and dominant, Davidson rescues Leo in his dragon form, though their first night together leaves Leo frightened. Determined to repair the damage, Davidson commits to protecting and winning Leo’s trust. Leo’s trauma and mistrust clash with Davidson’s intensity and possessiveness. Their relationship begins in chaos and fear, but Davidson’s persistence and Leo’s hidden longing create the potential for healing and passion. I loved this story that explored how trauma can trap someone in survival mode, and how love, risk, and intimacy can reignite the will to live fully. I thought that the omegaverse framework highlighted the negotiation of boundaries, consent, and trust and that Leo’s vulnerability contrasts with Davidson’s dominance. The story asked: Can vulnerability be a source of strength? Power exchange becomes not just erotic, but a way to rebuild trust and reclaim agency. I also loved that the story embraced the mythical and impossible as pathways to transformation. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BWNPXKG9" 0 likes, 0 comments - mp_book_reviews on December 31, 2025: "Review: Levity by Roe Horvat 4 of 5 stars Leo is a vulnerable omega living in fear and isolation. Today, I read the latest novella - Kink, by Roe Horvat. It's wanton, hedonistic, with a great #omegaverse love story. It's got lactation kink, D/s play, and a few other kinks. It's a fun, quick read that fits perfectly with a lot of the other books in #RoeHorvat 's catalogue. #mmromance
