I hope people understand that I love Rogier BECAUSE he puts up a facade. You do.. You do know that right? It's crucial you understand that because I KNOW he's a very messed up man. Yes, I was initially charmed by our first encounter. He was very helpful and a little charming (Sue me, but don't actually). But the more I talked to him, the more I learned and understood him, even after his death. I just.. That initial love never left. It only grew because wow, what a complex person that I desperately want to hold. And maybe it's because I too, for a good few years was angry with the world and still put on a smile for eveyone. You may never believe it, but I used to be such an angry person, angry to the point I would feel numb. (had a lot of issues in the past, dw about it haha). So to meet Rogier? To learn he too hid his true feelings and was too caught up in his own ideas to ask for help until it was too late? (basically masking for better words). That fucking hurt man. This honestly explains why I'm so determined to write a happier AU for him. Why I draw the cute art and make silly posts. Because if there's a universe where he can be happy, then maybe I can too..
