The daily update on the #RotoForge development:
I'm just putting in the last details, removed a few very annoying bugs and added a button to resync your Mask layer with an old Mask sequence.
With this, the new update is now 100% backwards compatible🥳
The daily #RotoForge update:
Loading times are now so fast I can't get the terminal out of the way fast enough - nice👍
The daily update on the #RotoForge development:
- RotoForge now respects the mask frame range (I also added a small button to set it to the scene frame range)
- Layers using RF now have built-in feathering (whole layer)
- I added a small panel to node editors to make mask loading easier

Daily update for #RotoForge:
-The sidequest lead nowhere, I decided to remove the Forceupdate button for now since it's still broken
-It was time to go work on the importer again, which works fairly well now, I just need to fix a few bugs
-I also found a bug in some imports - luckily was a quick fix

Daily update for #RotoForge:
Still no commit - I started a sidequest with some evil code that rips my addons modules out of the python cache so that I can update the python libraries without Windows babysitting me saying they are in use by a program
This is horrible, but I think it will work🙃
A screenshot of Blenders image editor in the Masking tab On the canvas you can see a before and after of the rasterization. The old method only treats splines as polygons while the new now allows for splines, feathering and the merging of multiple masks with different blend modes. Also a new button has been added to the sidebar called 'Bake Masks to Texture'. Pressing this will export the whole mask as an image sequence with the same resolution as the image currently loaded in the editor.
It's almost time for the next #RotoForge update!
I thought I'd maybe put up my progress daily until the release (hopefully this weekend)
Today I've been able to finish the whole new mask rasterization, it's now perfectly in sync with blender.
With this, you can also export your masks as textures🥳

While I'm working on the underlying version and file-management system for #RotoForge (It's so much🫠, but it'll pay off when it's backwards compatible with older projects), most people probably won't notice it.
So here's something:
Overlays are now (almost) pixel-perfect and no longer blurred!
#b3d
I just realized today is the #WorldVFXDay!
I don't have anything to show yet, but I'm still hard at work for the next update of #RotoForge
Stay tuned
Finally! I fixed the oldest bug in #RotoForge
No more one-frame offset mask previews - everything is now 100% accurate!
