<p>A New York woman was reportedly killed on Wednesday during an altercation involving her 12-year-old daughter and about 20 women.</p> <p>Police said <a href="https://www.nydailynews.com/2025/01/08/brawl-stabbing-20-women-staten-island-nycha-west-brighton-houses/">Jennira Roundtree, 43, was stabbed twice in the chest</a> and slashed once in her stomach outside her Staten Island home. The knife was recovered from the scene, according to the New York Daily News.</p> <p>Sources told the New York Post that<a href="https://nypost.com/2025/01/09/us-news/nyc-mom-fatally-stabbed-defending-daughter-12-in-massive-brawl-sources/"> social media was at the center of the deadly altercation</a>. The 20 attackers’ ages ranged in age from young teens to mid-20s.</p> <p>A neighbor revealed to the New York Daily News that a group of girls started a fight with Roundtree’s 12-year-old daughter, who called an older sister for help.
