Overall, this shapes up to be one of my favourite arcs of TBV in general. So many great character moments and fights + plot twist I’d love to see animated!

Considering we’re closing Sand Village events soon, perhaps next chapter will partially focus on what’s happening with Kawaki & Konoha while everything goes down in the village.

I also wish for someone to help Boruto out considering his fate is supposed to be death here. Obviously, he’ll not die, since his future fight with Kawaki didn’t happen yet, so Koji is off the mark in this case.

The chapter ends with Boruto being frustrated Uzuhiko doesn’t work on Jura. I loved we had back to back chapters of both Sarada and Boruto being super amazing! I hope Mitsuki will get his time to shine too and we see Moegi’s and Shinki revival!

Boruto answer is interesting, since he claims love can be a flaw, but that’s why Jura and the others will never be more than just the trees. He hits Jura with Uzuhiko again, but Jura neutralises it.

Jura talks this is another way love is a weakness for humans and stuff and Boruto will suffer thanks to love. It’s kind of funny how this fight is Boruto and Jura discussing love, since Jura seems to like philosophical debate on said subject.

Jura vs Boruto fight continuation in the air where Boruto tries to find an opportunity to use Uzuhiko. He throws his sword in the ground and tells Jura not to touch his weapon, since it’s a gift from Sasuke. 😭

Jura’s still in his newborn philosopher era and asks Boruto “What is love?” in the middle of their fight. At this point, one of possible endings for Jura as an enemy would be ending up with a different answer when he’s defeated than the current person one he holds.

Back to Jura and Boruto. Jura explains Boruto knows too much about the Divine Trees, so he came to kill him. He attempts for Boruto to reveal where his information on the Divine Trees come from, while Boruto thinks about a way to take Jura out.

We jump to Eida-Kashin Koji conversation where Koji explains to Eida, Boruto can’t teleport, even if he wants to because of his teleportation jutsu limitation and desire to protect the sand group! Did I say I love Boruto so much?

Perhaps, Jura needs to go to a shooting range or two to improve his sniping skills. Or change his approach to this fight. He gets distracted by running away Konohamaru that Boruto hits his back with Rasengan.

My boy is holding Konohamaru like a luggage and still dodges Jura trying out being a sniper. This time Jura bomb explodes and Boruto throws Konohamaru like discarded luggage to keep him safe.
I love Boruto so much! Even more than Jura attempts to shoot him.

Just Google gliding storks and it’s like a mirror image of Jura gliding to take out Boruto. Sniping didn’t work? It’s okay, let’s move to other methods. Anyway, Jura tries to snipe Boruto a second time, while moving in the air and Boruto dodges it like a champ.
Up above is a close up to Konohamaru’s head where he notices flying Jura in their direction. Up below is a panel of flying Jura

I love how that panel of angry Boruto looks so much! Or frustrated because the longer Konohamaru stays with him, the greater the danger etc.
I was just joking before, but Jura really reminds me of a gliding stork on this page.

Konohamaru asks if the thorn bulb will revive Moegi, but there’s no time, since Jura’s gliding in their direction. Boruto tells Konohamaru to get out of there and tells him to move. Resulting in the panel where he’s angrily telling Konohamaru to move.

For them, Jura was only 1-2 minutes menacingly flying in the sky without moving like a stork, then went to where Konohamaru is. In a way, they’re lucky Jura’s sniping target is Boruto and not them.

After all, I suppose he could practice his marksmanship skills and he attempted to shoot Boruto only once. Accident like this happen!
Jura teleports whereas Mitsuki and Araya realise he went in direction of where Konohamaru is. They don’t know why Boruto is here.
There are two small panel on the right. The first one above is showing the formation of a biju bomb and the one below has a close up to Konohamaru’s face where he asks: “?!” “What is that?” The large panel on the left shows sitting Konohamaru holding his injuries and Boruto’s back when he responds to the question Konohamaru asked: “A miniature biju bomb sniper shot.” “It’s Jura. He’s here.”

Moving on, Jura tries to snipe out Boruto, while Konohamaru asks about the technique he used. Boruto explains it’s a miniature biju bomb. Who knew Jura would be such a terrible sniper? Boruto barely moved.
Of course, Jura doesn’t appear to be bothered he missed.

Boruto explains Matsuri was already beat up and that’s why it was easier. I mean, you do realise your Rasengan stunt hurt Matsuri, right Konohamaru? I suppose I can’t blame him too much. That ‘date’ with Matsuri went horrible on all fronts.

We’re back to Boruto and Konohamaru being impressed he cut down Matsuri pretty easily. Perhaps, the main cause of it is Matsuri not wanting to eat Boruto’s jacket and instead seeing Konohamaru as her dinner.

But if we were in Mitsuki’s and Araya place it’d be so CONFUSING why he even showed up if doesn’t plan to engage with them.

Jura’s just menacingly flying in the air, which makes our Ryu fight team incredibly confused. Not gonna lie, I’d be extremely confused too if someone would be just flying in front of me and doing nothing. Of course, we as a readers know why Jura’s here…

Also, Jura pops out from a Claw Grime so causally it’s as if he went on a vacation to Sand Village where one of his goals is to deal with Boruto. Of course, my boy Mitsuki is surprised, but I’m excited, since it means he could shine this chapter alongside Boruto!

The chapter starts with Sand group and Mitsuki telling Araya he’ll deal with Claw Grimes, while telling Araya he needs to take Shinki’s thorn bulb. Sarada’s currently unconscious.

I love this Boruto cover! Especially the background. It reminds me of space/galaxy, which is fitting with star themes present throughout the story. The title of the chapter is ‘Jura’, so my best bet the chapter’s main focus is his character and fight with Boruto.

I’ve many thoughts about what can potentially happen. Will we have Sarada, Mitsuki and Boruto reuniting in the Sand Village now that Boruto jumped in to save Konohamaru?

Also adds the spiciness of Jura getting involved now and one of the worst scenarios Koji mentioned happening. I realise this is quite short chapter reaction, but I really think it’s one of the chapters best experienced totally not knowing what happens!
