On 28 September, World Rivers Day, we’re partnering with @wetlandsint.bsky.social to bring back a #RunBlue classic: the #WorldRiverRun!

I started all of this as just one crazy person running alone in the middle of the desert. Today, there are thousands of us behind #RunBlue. Never underestimate the impact you can make, or your ability to bring your community with you.

Almost exactly three years ago, I ran through Birdsville as part of our #RunBlue campaign. Back then, it was red desert – dry, hot, stretching endlessly in every direction. The town hadn’t seen rain in a while.
