Today’s walk lead us to a runestone in Upplands Väsby. The stone has two carvings, made by Ingrid in memory of her husband and two sons. It also states that Ingrid built a bridge, which was quite a big deal in the Iron Age. She was probably a powerful and influential person! #runestone

This summer I went to take a look at the oldest #runestone in Uppland, Sweden, Krogstastenen, U1125.
Dated to 550 or later, so the early language and few #runes makes it impossible to know what it says on this side, other side is maybe "stone".
