Me just making up lyrics as I debate how to make one with $0 to spend on materials.
I have a bunch of logs and fallen trees I can use to hold plastic or a tarp but I think all my tarps have holes cause chipmunks are asshole rats with cute disguises

β¦. And now that itβs dark and Iβm expecting 25-50cm of snow (almost 2 feet) I want to make a skating rink

Can I use a roll of plastic meant for weatherproofing houses? Probably not wide enough⦠will duct tape hold? red tape?
Anyone want to buy me a giant tarp? Lol

πβ¦but I donβt want 25cm of snowπ
Since I have bare farm fields on two sides I get a lot of snow drifts blowing in to sometimes double it. I have squall alerts too, so itβll be windy
Iβm soooo not done with winter prepping outside. Been busy with health stuff

Spent all day doing yardwork (raking leaves into piles and shovelling dirt in a wheelbarrow (5 loads today) & then put down paver stones
Then I blanked and let the krakens out & they immediately started scratching all the leaf piles all over the yard

Weasel was caught and picked up by the local trapper.
Hopefully that will be the end of the chicken killing spree
All the tiny holes from wood knots falling out are covered with hard wire mesh (I dont use chicken fence) to prevent future attacks

An owl just flew directly over my head. Well, 4 feet above, but itβs path crossed over me and It was magical
I immediately felt⦠something, I should know⦠something
Weird right? Though I am the one watching Star Trek on the barn
I hope it left me a feather!

My neighbour just tinted my eyebrows, free, & now we have plans for daily walks and coffee in the countryside
By countryside I mean, *gestures wildly* β¦hereβ¦ just around here
Her husband is a licensed trapper and is handling my coon problem for me, also free.
