For clarity, we’re calling #SB152 the “foster NOT foster” bill because it allows bio-children of foster parents to access the voucher, but the foster children themselves are not eligible. We’ve warned about chipping away at the guardrails to make the GA ESA universal and here we are. #GaPol

ICYMI: #SB152, the foster parent (not kids) voucher expansion is up in #GaPol House Ed and coming down to the line. Seems the house is trying to clean up their mess around eligibility and the sponsor, Sen. Dolezal does not want since it would *chill* access.

Despite reassurances, the Georgia Legislature has multiple bills expanding our three vouchers. This is what we warned about. They widened the door and are back for more. This is how they defund our schools.
