Wow. First dined at #WeBeSushi when I was an undergrad at #SFStateU in the ‘80s. Sad to see it close BUT also hope that Chef Tonozuka will have a good retirement. We thank him for his many years of excellent culinary service 🫡🍱🍣 #TeamSF missionlocal.org/2026/02/we-b...
Not even the #EthnicStudiesDept at my alma mater, #SFStateU, provided deep historic ed on this when I was earning my #BA in Journalism there during the ‘80s. And in the mid-‘90s, in my @niemanfoundation.bsky.social year auditing courses across #Harvard College + Grad Schools? Not much on tap 🤦🏽♀️
My website provides an overview of my work, not a granular RollCall of jobs I’ve had since graduating from #SFStateU in Journalism. My actual CV has more granular details — but apparently now must be *DumbedDown* to a 1-pager so as not to upset the #AI “first-screen” step AND any human HR person.
Last: I’m a proud alumni of #SFStateU (a #CalStateU). Pls read Legit sources on the history #CA’s publicly funded higher ed structure — and how / why it is literally Powered my home state’s global prominence. #StanfordU gets a ton of press for its #BigTech ties, but Pub Unis here are THEE main story
