During the pandemic, #SGUnited was one of the hashtags that was trending on Singapore's side of the World Wide Web. And yes, I am from Singapore.

However, #SGUnited, #SGCares and #SGBudget do not mean:

1. Not explaining how and why Covid19 became a crisis in Singapore;
2. Not explaining how Covid19 spread in the migrant worker dorms;

“Do not fear. Do not lose heart. Singapore will not falter in its onward march. I believe we can still secure a bright future for ourselves. An even stronger and better Singapore will emerge from this crisis.”

Yes, I agree. #SGUnited is a necessary collective purpose.

I’m not sure that the frequency of the use of the word “foreign” is entirely helpful. We’re trying to pull together at this time, right? Good to avoid language that may become divisive #SGUnited ...

On the one hand: 5 days since last shaving cut.

On the other hand: 5 days since last shave.
