After opening it up and replacing the missing motor brushes the little Atlantic ran wonderfully. This is my first real experience with American Flyer and it’s been fun to learn about them. I think you can say I’m a fan now! :D

This S gauge American Flyer locomotive was included among a collection of O gauge trains, with no additional S gauge track or cars. When I met an AF vendor at a train show he was able to give me advice and hook me up with what I need.

A few months ago my uncle gave me a collection of vintage trains that belonged to his father. Today I was requested to bring his train to the family gathering. I’m thankful I can share this train in his memory. Happy Thanksgiving. :)
