Exactly. My first ride on #TGV was in 1985. More than 40 years ago. Still not possible anywhere in N.America.
As to Montreal to Toronto #bullettrain: C'mon, it's not that hard to create a raised track. Ask the Japanese to do it, if need be: #Shinkansen was buillt _60_ years ago.
