After my talk at #SIEF2025 in Aberdeen, I had a chance to visit to the Highland Folk Museum. Founded in 1935 and modeled on the Scandinavian open air folk museum concept, it presents buildings from different periods, including this stone thatched roof cottage, interpreted from the late 1800s.

Been busy conferencing at #SIEF2025 in Aberdeen 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I have to admit that the best part so far has been the trip to the Highlands I took prior to the conf (see fig1). The working group Feminist Approaches’ panels come second. I look forward to learning more what this new SIEF WP is made of and up to!
