Watching Brad Loncar's interview w/ Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy CSO John Connelly at Day 2 of #SITC23 in San Diego. Their CAR-T program is focusing on pancreatic cancer & glioblastoma. Researchers include Carl June & Crystal Mackall. Parker Institute funds 14 centers around the US.
Amazing science for 4 days at #SITC23 - but sometimes you need a couple hours outside to explore the other side of the convention center 😎 Even better with fellow OSU BMS grad @ajaeger40 !
I think some of the coolest biological engineering approaches in recent years is designed molecular glues/PROTACs and rationally engineered CAR-T cells - @janlabmgh from @MGHCancerCenter is putting both of them together to enhance efficiency of CAR-T cells🤯! #SITC23

Excited to be at #SITC23 - kicking off my @sitcancer conference in beautiful San Diego with a whole day of myeloid cells in cancer! Amazing line up all day, including @JennGuerriero dropping knowledge on macrophages in breast cancer (as usual, she also organized the day 😎)!
