In the same location, turning right under the bridge is another cause of flooding.
Minor integrity issues to the under-side of the bridge causes water to drip through - A continuous issue, even in summer, and contributes to the flooding in this area.

This area gets flooded every year. The pavement has eroded over time, it's impossible for pedestrians, prams, joggers, or dog walkers to pass without facing oncoming traffic (dangerous)
An easy fix. Any moron can see the drain pipe clogged with ivy.
