#SNL50YearsOfMusic is an interesting look at the last half century.
I prefer the early footage from the 70s to 90s because it illustrates how avant garde it was in the beginning and then it's focus on emerging artists.

i'm loving this doc though bc finding those old music performances from SNL is so hard. They cut most of them out on Peacock because of music rights. it would cost NBC a FORTUNE but i would love if there was a place to find just the musical performances from throughout the years #SNL50YearsOfMusic
i wish they would have interviewed Ashlee Simpson for the segment about her lip sync fiasco. that essentially ruined her career! she was seen as another Milli Vanilli. they didn't say anything about the aftermath of that night for her #SNL50YearsOfMusic
