Looks like LHP Eduardo Rivera is moving up from Portland to Worcester. #SP60 #33, Rivera was great in his first 2 starts: 16 K, 3 BB, 0.90 ERA.
WooSox are desperate for SPs. Tolle's next start is likely in Boston. Bennett, Gamboa, and Sansone are their only healthy starters.
#SP60
First look at Harold Rivas, in his first stateside camp. Currently ranked #22 on the #SP60. Had a nice BP. #springbreakout
The #SP60 countdown continues with Gerardo Rodriguez, who turned in a strong 2025 at the plate, hitting .285/.344/.421 between the FCL & Salem as a 19-year-old. Equally impressive was his play behind the dish where he showed himself a capable receiver and thew out 34% of attempted base stealers.
⬇️
Our #SP60 countdown begins with the first of several pitchers selected in the 2025 draft out of an SEC school. The 6-foot-5 righty struck out 83 batters in 68 2/3 innings for the Georgia Bulldogs before Boston nabbed him with a sixth-round pick.

CIF Blaze Jordan is #19 on the #SP60. Hitting .298/.341/.480 in AAA since 6/3 promotion.
2020 overslot bonus 3rd-rd pick. Best tool is power. Hits the ball hard, makes contact, but will chase. Better defender at 1B than 3B.

Minor league injury report, thread 1/8. Days missed and #SP60 rank in parentheses:
POR RHP Luis Perales (TJS rehab, #5): Mound progression. Late August target for live BPs.
GRE RHP Juan Valera (64 days, #9): Right elbow soreness. In Fort Myers. Mound progression.
I've confirmed with a team source @byandrewparker.bsky.social's report that LHP Connelly Early and RHP David Sandlin are being promoted to Triple-A Worcester.
#10 and #11 prospects on the #SP60, respectively.
Not even the first Hector Ramos in the #SP60
Fun rankings note: FCL catcher Jorge Rodriguez (VZ), entering the #SP60 at #44, is the third player with that name we've ranked.
A LHP ("The Crafty Mexican") peaked at #23, ranked from 9/2019 - 7/2021.
A Colombian RHP, who peaked at #41, was ranked from 4/20/07 - 6/11/07.

A list of Tuesday's transactions
Here's what appears to be the full #TransactionTuesday movement on the farm today, headlined by the promotion of #SP60 #5 prospect, LHP Payton Tolle, to Portland.
One interesting note: Moran, Tolle, Rivera, Sprague, Medina, and Labriola are all LHP.
The Red Sox have acquired MIN RHP Jorge Alcala for GRE UT Andy Lugo.
Alcala has struggled in 2025 but had past success the club hopes he can regain. Lugo peaked at #43 in the #SP60 in May 2023. Can play all over, but struggled with injuries and wasn't playing every day. Was hitting .265/.327/.430.
Our June 2025 #RedSox prospect rankings update is live at soxprospects.com! Franklin Arias, Jhostynxon Garcia, Yordanny Monegro, Enddy Azocar, Blaze Jordan, Tyler Uberstine, Zach Ehrhard & Freili Encarnacion moving up. Jesus Travieso makes his debut on the #SP60. K. Campbell & R. Fitts graduate.
Worcester announced the release of IF Alex Binelas. Acquired from Milwaukee in December 2021 along with Jackie Bradley Jr. and David Hamilton in exchange for Hunter Renfroe (coincidentally, DFA by KC today), Binelas peaked at #17 in the #SP60 in June/July 2022.
Has hit the ball as hard as anyone in the system this year and covers the zone pretty well, but has one of the highest chase rates in the system and is repeating the level. Just missed the #SP60 this month.
Our May 2025 #RedSox prospect rankings update is now live at soxprospects.com! Payton Tolle, Brandon Clarke, Shane Drohan, Nell Taylor & Eduardo Rivera moving up. John Holobetz & Matt McShane make their debuts on the #SP60.

The #SP60 continues with one of the best stories from 2024. Having gone undrafted, Danny Kirwin was preparing to pitch in Indy ball. A video posted on social media showed the RHP touching 98 MPH. Days later, he was signed by the Red Sox.
The #SP60 kicks off with Austin Ehrlicher. Due to injuries, the 21-year-old RHP has only pitched six innings since the Red Sox drafted him in the 18th round of the 2022 draft. He has a very intriguing fastball-slider combination, which could help propel him quickly through the system.

Tomorrow morning.
#SP60 Season-end rankings update.
Rankings changes up and down the list. Will Roman Anthony hold off Kristian Campbell and Marcelo Mayer for the top spot?
SoxProspects.com
Dobbins and Garcia always seemed the likely move. Not terribly surprised by I. Campbell and Mata as the DFAs. Mata the more noteworthy as a former #2 prospect in the #SP60 (in the very weak late 2019 era). No options remaining, so I could see him clearing.
#SP60 This is really tense! Come on @andy_murray!
