Wil Wheaton explains how the trestle scene was filmed in N. California on a sweltering day. Pasternak observes as Feldman gets his shirt on. O'Connell is still in position for the reenactment.

Note a white tee shirt draped over it, the type of shirt his character wore. The other three are wearing the shirts their characters wore, O'Connell saved his costume for 40 years (!) while Wheaton and Feldman are wearing reproductions. The screen, which shows a promo atm (Stand By Me, The film and its stars 40 years later), was used for the movie and for photos & clips to illustrate stories told by the panel.
After our protest we hopped a ferry to Seattle to see Stand By Me. The 3 remaining "kids" - Wil Wheaton, Jerry O'Connell & Corey Feldman - chatted for ~90 min w/Dan Pasternak. Lots of laughs, some tears (empty chairs) & just fun. If this comes near you, go!
