Even now, the bosses push our bodies to their breaking point, so they can profit off our hard work. After Amazon #STL8 worker Christine Manno developed carpal tunnel syndrome on the job, the company refused to accommodate her disability or grant her long-term benefits.

A pro-worker and small business fair tax agenda is possible. Key element would include:
— Raise the corporate tax rate, make it progressive, and close loopholes.
— Tax corporations with excessive CEO pay.
— Increase the new stock buybacks tax.
— Use tax policies to support worker power and small businesses.
— Lift the Social Security wage cap.
— Tax income from wealth at least as high as income from work.

Workers don’t “appreciate” when management:

❌ Pushes workers’ bodies to their limits
❌ Misgenders workers
❌ Dehumanizes workers

That’s why #STL8 workers across all backgrounds are fighting back against corporate greed and mistreatment.
