スズキから先ごろ発表されたばかりのクロスオーバーモデル、SV-7GXのエンジンはSV650の645ccVツインの排気量はそのままに、細部に多くの改良を施したエンジンらしい（それなら車名もSV-6GXにすれば良かったのにと思うが😅）。四半世紀以上に渡って熟成を重ねて来たエンジンなので、完成度は高そう。既に円熟味では定評があるしね。
一方でオンロードスポーツとしてのSV650は廃止になるようで、こちらは残念な話😰

Theoretically, that could be possible. But with my car I drive the 1.5 km to the store and back. On the bike I get to the same store via a 65 km loop out to Gull Lake and back. 😏

If, after you've rebuilt the #carburetors on your #Suzuki #SV650 #motorcycle , the bike decides to not start, ensure the new fuel line you installed 1) is not kinked (very easy to do), and 2) is clear & fuel flows. I checked the latter by blowing air through it. "Bingo!" now we can sync the carbs!

A few years back when my son expressed interest in riding I ‘obtained’ a 2003 #Suzuki #SV650. Like a lot of SV’s that age it needed a lot of love. It was an insightful project with my biggest takeaway being that a new cable clutch line needs to be lubricated before being installed. O.o

Suzuki SV650 motorcycle carburetors
Suzuki SV650S motorcycle in my shed with the tank up, running it for the first time after the carburetor rebuild and new fuel line.
Some new fuel line, it all went back together, and it runs! This is a big improvement to before, where it would die when applying any throttle. Now just waiting for the synchronization gauges to arrive, and it will be ready for sale. #SV650 #carburetor #motorcycle #Suzuki #diy #maintenance
